Of the Nintendo 3DS software shipped or planned for 2012, Paper Mario: Sticker Star stands as the game I’m most excited for. The simplistic RPG mechanics coupled with the charming art style have made it a game that I’ve looked forward to since its initial announcement back at E# in 2010.
The trailer above shows off a few of the shenanigans I’m really excited for. The combat system is back with sticker-based mechanics, the game’s world looks fantastic and it appears that the spirited humor remains just at strong as it always has been.
Plus, as Baby Bowser put it, “NYARGLEBARGLE!” No idea.

Paper Mario: Sticker Star will ship for the Nintendo 3DS in North America on November 11th, 2012.
